hey guys...i am planning to buy a 5000k HID kit from xenon depot...and i got a question for current xenon depot HID users on the forum:
i read on the net that sometimes the battery doesnt supply enough power to the hids and in this case u'd need to get a battery relay kit...well did any user here have to buy that or had that problem with xenon depot HID kit

I would highly recommend a relay kit. It will isolate the electrical demand for the HIDS to just your battery. Although HIDs use less wattage than conventional bulbs (35W vs 55W), the amount of power they use to fire up is quite a bit (~28000 volts). For the peace of mind of not frying your wiring, I think they are a good investment.

I didn't realize Xenondepot (from Steve) had any 5000K Philips in hand, only overseas you can acquire for a Philips 5000K. Which is why I went on a crusade hunt for a 5000K. I need to check there website again. |

OHhhh thats my bad...i mixed up the specs of some other HID kit...sry bout that...but anyways i was planning to get the 4300k hid kit...if only xenon depot had a 5000k or somewhere in between 4000k and 6000k
