I got my new 2007 MDX this week (traded in my 2001 MDX after 108,000 miles).
I've been playing with all the settings and voice command. One question is what Bluetooth phones can sync the address book?
I have a Treo and I can use the hands free, but can't sync the address book it claims that my phone doesn't support it. |

Try looking up the pairing instructions on handsfreelink.com .
When you say "sync the phonebook" do you mean sync the phonebook in your phone to the HFL? Is that a new feature? THe 05 and 06 couldn't do this. |

| The HFL works with the Treo no problem. There is an option to sync the address book to allow voice activated dialing on the 07. |

All the MDX HFL have an address book built into the HFL. This lets you use voice activation to dial any entry in the HFL address book.
However, unless there is a major change in the 07, you can't use voice activation on the HFL to dial an entry in the phone's address book. Is this what you're trying to do? |

There is a command to upload address book. it is supposed to allow both navigation and calling to the address book. It doesn't work with my phone and the dealer didn't know which phones it will work it. I would like to upload my address book, and hopefully be able to voice call and navigate to the addresses.
Last night, the nav tried to send me across a bridge that hasn't existed in 5 years! |

| according to Acura's hands Free link site the phones compatible with the full address book upload are dependent on the Wireless carrier... I have Cingular and there are 3 Sony Ericssons that can do the full address book upload,,,, thats it.... I have a Motorola and a a new 2007 MDX and the Moto version I have can do everything except upload the address book and show the battery level of the phone on the vehicle display.... everything else seems to work really well... |
