| We have sold every 2007 MDX that has arrived including our DEMO. About half of the arriving vehicles in the next two weeks are also pre-sold. All of these sales are at full MSRP. |

Just came back from my dealer in Vancouver, BC.
If I were to order one today I would be the 21st on the waitlist.
I guess this is saying it's been selling pretty well !
Test drove it in the heavy rain (perfect !) and was impressed
with the how well it cornered hard in the heavy rain. The SH AWD
really worked well. It's almost like someone gave the rear end of the car a push
from the side at the apex so the car wouldn't break loose at the rear.
The braking is also AAA.
However, I wasn't too impressed with the 300hp engine for its lack of punch at the low rpm (< 3k), when compared with my 02 X.
Yes, I have tried to kept the engine reving high using the manual shift but then from my experience with the 02, I would probably
get 12 mpg with that driving style. There are many other cars that do better in acceleration with 12 mpg of gas consumption.
Not sure if I would dump my 02 yet, since although the new X is better, it may not be $30K better than my 02 at the moment. |
