I just bought a used '05 MDX Touring with 23k miles on it. What do I need to do to assure that, if I run into any problems for the rest of the warranty period, I will be covered for those problems?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
BTW, I love the MDX!!! |

| Ask the dealer where you bought it from. Ask for complete service records for your own records, to validate req maintenace was followed. |

I would either go to the dealer that the previous owner used (if convenient to you) or to the dealer that you intend to use. Either should be able to tell you what is necessary for the warranty to be transferred to you.

I also just bought an 05 MDX with 23k miles. Went from an 01 with 124k. The easiest thing to do is call the originating dealer, which you can get from the manual. They can give you the inservice date and also confirm that the accessories were installed at the time of original purchase and therefore also covered under warranty. They can also give you a printout of all the service if it was done there.
You can call Acura Client Services at 800-382-2238 if you want to register your purchase with them. This gets your vehicle in Acura's system. |
