Having searched here on acuramdx.org and on the internet it seems that Monroe and KYB shocks/struts are not available for the 2003+
MDX's. However, there are part numbers for the 03-04 Pilot from Monroe and KYB. I called there respective tech support but no one knew if the Pilot shock/struts would fit on the MDX. KYB tech support did say that they are in the process of finding out if the Pilot shocks/struts are interchangeable with the MDX. Does anyone here know if the parts are interchangeable? I am going to give a few local Acura/Honda service depts. a call to see if they can help. Thanks in advance for the input.

One back way to check may be to compare part numbers for the OEM parts for the MDX and the Pilot. If there is a match there then aftermarkets should be swappable as well. Just a thought...

Thanks for the insight Devil421. I called a local Honda service dept and they said that they would not touch suspension work on a Acura. Maintenance stuff they would do. Acura service dept. said they would only install OE. I gave Tim a call and from my understanding, the Honda and Acura have diferrent part numbers. Well one of the main reasons for buying the X was it had the best suspension (in my opinion) compared to the GMC, Ford, Toyota, Chevy and Lexus SUV's I test drove so OE is NOT a bad thing.
Thanks for the help
