I need to splice into the amp wiring to connect my Parrot 3100. I was wondering if there is someone who sells a wiring harness or the connectors to connect to the amp. Its the 26-pin connector. All of the harnesses that I have seen look like they connect to the back of the radio (20 pin). I'd rather get a harness and modify it vs. splicing into the wiring.
If I have to splice into the wiring can I use something like this and this? |

Sorry. I should have stated that to begin with. Its a 2004 RES & NAV.
I actually have the Crutchfield harness. That's what the Parrot is hooked up with right now. Since its connected before the amp, it is way too loud, even at the lowest volume setting on the Parrot. The other unit is $150. I guess I could go that way, but I was hoping to keep the cost down. |

I had the same issue with my unit. My installer installed an line level variable attenuator to reduce the "hot-ness" of the parrot signal.
Hope this helps. |
