I just bought an MDX from Ebay and was shipped to me in Canada. The problem I am having is that I need to install Day Driving Light which is required here in Canada. I took the car to the dealer and they refused to touch a US Car and I don't know what to do.

I also needed a set of keys and the dealer woudn't sell me one for the same reason.

Can anyone help me?

There is some info in this thread: Link
You could PM the MDX and/or Pilot forum members for more detailed info. Entrinsic (a Pilot forum member) just went through this but doesn't provide the detail of where he had the DRLs added.

Thanks for your reply. The article you mentioned will really help me in fixing my vehicle.

You might also try talking to Tim at Hondacuraworld. Being he is based in Buffalo he may have some additional insight that may prove to be useful. If not he can at least get you the parts you need.

You may also want to let people know WHERE in Canada you are just in case anyone near you has done the mod.

Good luck.

I am located in Toronto. I guess my other option is to drive down to Buffalo.

Ahhh... see it gets easier... yeah I would suspect that Buffalo would be the "easiest" solution rather than trying to rig it up there... not a bad trip at all for you...

again... good luck
