Does anyone have any suggestions on getting the smell of dried spilled half and half out of a MDX?
I spilled half and half in the back and I think some of it went into the small storage compartment in the back. Also a small stream of half and half ran down the driver side third row to the second row. I thought I cleaned it, but now it smells like dirty old wet socks :4: I tried Frebreeze for car, dryer sheet, even charcoal (to absorb the odor) and still the odor is still there.
thanks in advance. |

| Try coffee. Someone at work spilled curry and it got underneath her desk. We tried everything to get rid of the smell. The only thing that worked was ground coffee. |

| Sounds like you may have to locate and remove the spilled half and half to stop the odor the soonest. For the smell, Febreeze gets my vote, then I'd recommend leaving the MDX outside with the windows and roof open every chance you get. Good luck. Tom |

I'll second cat pee odor removers. I'm currently in the process of using one such product called Nature's Miracle while we are trying to determine whether our 14 yr old DSH is peeing in the house because of an environmental reason or due to senility. Products that treat cat urine are enzymatic odor eliminators and really work better than a product that just masks the smell like Febreeze. |
