I've been trying to hook up my Parrot CK3100. I've looked through all the threads I could find and I understand the concept of what I need to do.

I've got telco wire taps for splicing into the amp. The question is that the Parrot harness has two sets of ISO plugs for the speakers. Which one do I use? Or do I splice them together and then into the amp? See pic at bottom of page 1

Also for the mute function (I have Nav/RES), do I connect into the mute wire on the factory stereo harness?

Go to www.parrotkit.com and you can purchase a plug and play adaptor for your parrot. I believe the cost is 150.00 due to the Parrot requiring some extra engineering because of the external audio amp. The model number is Honda-Acura QCHBB-HA. Phone number is 1-888-8-CARKIT (M-F 9AM-5PM Pacific Time). If you are trying to do this yourself (with
out a pnp kit) I am sorry I can not help you.

Yes, that is the harness I used - the QCHBB-HA - totally plug and play and bluetooth is like factory...

Purple,

Do you know if this harness would work with an 04 MDX with Nav ?

How long did it take for you to install ? Do you have any installation pics ?

Did you have to take out the radio for the installation ?

Thanks

It says it works with NAV or non-NAV

I didn't do the install but it only took an hour apparently.

Yes, the bluetooth retrofit cable plugs between the radio and the original harness plug.

Thanks

I just put one of the kits into my CL using the parrotkit.com cable (with volume control) and it works great. Those guys do a good job and are very helpful.

Had to remove the console and the radio.

I don't know about the MDX. My new MDX has Bluetooth.

Thanks Purple/Joe.

Joe,
Did you get the technical support from Parrot or the guys to make the parrot harness kit ?

My understanding is that by using this harness, you don't need to splice any wires, right?

I got the support from the harness maker. They also sell the device but I bought it elsewhere before I head of them.

There are no wires to splice.

However, getting at the back of the radio may be difficult.

I am sure glad I purchased the shop manual on my CL.

Good Luck...
