I have a couple questions. I have a 03 with NAV and RES. I’ve had it for less than a month so I’m still learning.
1. Why is the button for “Today’s Destinations” grayed out on my nav. It’s never available even after I use it for navigation that day. Is this a feature that is not available on my disk? (I think I have the original nav disk)
2. I didn’t get the factory remote for the rear DVD system. Has anyone successfully used a generic remote on it? If so, what would the code be?

I have to mess around with the NAV manual but IIRC, you have to add your destination using "Add to Today's Destinations" button in order to use this function, not just inputting an address using the Menu. You can then add multiple destinations. Otherwise, just press "Previous Destinations" to access prior addresses.
You can get a remote from ebay or Tim at hondacuraworld. Is this a stock RES or aftermarket? I can't remember if the 03 offered OEM RES... |
