My First Impressions:
Neat Changes: Auto Door Locks, Sunglass Holder in roof like my old 01 MDX had, Navi has matching color back ground with the car color(Dark Cherry Pearl).The metal console trim and Trim around the radio is different from the non-Sport models and really looks nice. My wife’s iPod worked fine in the center console Aux jack.
The Navi takes some getting used to, but I like it and the maps are better where I live.
When floored the engine really roars. I have only done this twice for a few seconds.
I do miss the slot in the door to pull it closed. The new handle is much further toward the door hinge and makes pulling somewhat harder. The Switch to Soft Ride is easy to feel as soon as you hit the switch. I have not yet decided where to leave it.
Every time I start reading the manual, I have to run outside and check out something I had not even noticed after three days of driving. Neat items that were not on my 2004 Touring with Navi.
Did you know you can insert the key into the door and turn to open all windows and the moon roof all at the same time – to let out the hot air.
The Parking Brake now has a release handle. There is a sun shield on the front window in front of the rear view mirror. I guess this was the only way to keep the sun out of your eyes since the sun visors are small with no extensions. The outside rear view mirrors are now heated if needed. There are some type of Blue Courtesy Lights in the roof that come on when turning on the parking lights. The rear seat center fold down arm rest also pulls out forward to expose drink holders. I found a 12 volt power socket in the back of the center console.
This color looks super if the sun is reflecting off of it directly. Sometimes it looks like a big Hershey’s Chocolate Bar – a Dark Brown, and sometimes looks like a burgundy color.
I found these items by flipping thru only about 20 pages of the manual.
I still have not been able to make a phone call even though the dealer set it up on my phone. |

The remote window/sunroof opening to let the heat out also can be done through the remote control. Press and release the unlock button, then press and hold it. I am glad that Acura finally added this functionality, my 99 RX300 had it and it was great for cooling it off fast in the summer.
Instead of having a pull-out on the sun visors, the whole sun visors slide about 6" on their support to achieve the same goal. |

| What I find interesting is that your salesperson did not show you all of these features either while showing you the car before purchase or at delivery. I guess that is what separates the good salespeople from the best. |
