Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and have just had my GG Base MDX for
about five weeks now. Everything was fine up until a week and
a half ago. I was coming onto an onramp and all of a sudden
the interior lights flashed twice and then the doors unlocked.
This now has gotten worse, not only on curves, but also on
bumpy roads as well.

I have a scheduled checkup with my dealer on August 14th,
and I will report back when they have isolated the issue.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem ?

Thanks.

Tony

sounds like loose connection issue.. On my current Audi, the radio dashboard display sometimes disappears and comes back only after I "shut down and reboot" the vehicle.. .. Dealer said it's an electrical problem and fixed it in 30 minutes by replacing 2 fuses - don't ask me why - I am no electrician.. I suggest taking it to the dealer earlier.. who knows what this may cause..

Could it be related to the key fob remote and/or the ignition security microchip somehow? What else in on your key chain?

I agree with genemish. Sounds like a short is happening when a loose wire touches the frame or something else over bumps/curves.

Okay Folks,

Here is the folow-up.

I have attempted to rid myself of everything on the Key Fob
and it still does the mysterious flashing of the interior lights
and opening of the doors. I think that the other opinions
of a short or loose connection is probably correct. In any
case, I have not taking any chances and will not be driving my
MDX until the dealer can investigate on the 14th.

Thank you to all who posted a reply with opinions/questions.
