What do you guys think about this outfit?

Seems too good to be true......a treatment that protects for 20 years and a stain that lasts 7.

It probably is ! :) I've had lots of different wood decks, in my lifetime and none of them have been able to hold a stain for long in rainy, damp, cold weather, as well as they do in sunny dry weather.
And while there are some good stains out there, none of them ever lasted that many years. I would be interested in knowing what they are using and comparing their ingredients to any of the wood sealers that are readily available.
Its wood, it doesnt last forever, some woods last better than others, but most decks are made with softwoods, cedar, pine, fir, hemlock, or the best, redwood.
About the only thing that wont fade is the newer Trex types of deck material that have alot of plastic if not all plastic and look alot like real wood.
Even painting decks never lasts but would possibly last longer than any stain or sealer. Hard to say how long as every install is different as is weather conditions affecting each.
Is it worth your money to invest in this 7-year deal, or is it easier and/or less expensive to routinely treat your wood every so often?
Good luck, hope you can figure what works best for ya'.. DanF
