My dealership is offering me $29,000.00 for my 2005 MDX Touring Navi/Res black on black with 22,000 miles.
I have NO time to sell out right due that the vehicle we want is in high demand:
2007 MDX Sport Navi/Entertainment
Would you pass or take it ? |

From www.kbb.com, Trade in values:
Condition Value
Excellent
$30,450
Good
$28,755
Fair
$25,860
Seems that $29,000 is what it is worth.
Good luck!

Fabvsix,
follow-up question would be 'how much are they charging for the new model?' that would help determine if your trade at $29K would be worth it (assuming you still owe on the 05 'X) |

How much do you want the new model?
Whether or not the deal is a good one can really only be determined by you.
If you have to ask someone advise you either really do not want the 07 or it is at the limit of your finances.

| Fab, you're about to break the Golden Rule - NEVER buy a new model/major redesign in the first model year PERIOD. Flashback to the '01 Mdx and you'll come to your senses (tranny, weeping mirrors, wind noise, etc) If you really must have the 07 Mdx, at least wait 6 more months - it took Acura 6 months to get rid of some of the electronic issues on the redesign of the RL & TL. Since there's absolutely nothing wrong w/your '05, I say wait until April/May to pull the trigger . . . caveat emptor |
