I have a new MDX 2007, nice stereo with DVD-Audio support, does anyone know about good ones?, the local stores (ie Bestbuy) has only a few so I guess buying them via the web is the way to go, but I'll like to buy some that have a great recording quality (and good music too..), any recommendations?

PS. By the way I tested creating a DVD-r with MP3s, works great! so I was using an ipod connection now I think I will just carry a few DVDs, since we can fit like 800 songs or so on a DVD (depending compresssion)

Can't provde any first-hard expirience on DVD-A music yet, but you might try this site:

www.highfidelityreview.com/

The site has reviews for SACD and DVD-Audio disks - though some of the reviews appear dated.

Another place for reviews of DVD-A is Amazon.com.

My friend has Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on SA-CD and it sounds fantastic. I'm sure the DVD-A version would be as good - if you're into that kind of music. If they are available on DVD-A you might want to look for:

The Eagles - Hell Frezes Over
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
The Complex - The Blue Man Group

Amazon.com has a good selection of DVD-A discs. Fleetwood Mac's Rumors is very well done, as is R.E.M.'s Out of Time . I'll definitely be shopping for more of these, because these mixes are what really make this audio system shine.

The automakers a running late. DVD-A as well as SACD are gradually losing favor with the public.
I don't expect a bunch more releases and what's available is mostly 'good' with a few excellent. On the whole, not very impressive for as long as it has been around. Sure beats 8-tracks though.
