Saw these wheels and tires for a 2007 MDX on sale on the Honda Ridgeline site. I have no connection with this guy. Just pass it on in case someone might be interested.

I think the owner listed them on this site as well under classifieds.

Wish I had the extra $$ for the upgrade, they look nice. I'm hoping that once there are a few more take-off's available for the '07's I can pick up a set with tires for $800. Maybe wishful thinking.

Not totally impossible. I think there was a new set sold for 8 or 9 hundred dollars
on eBay a while ago. Good luck !

Yeah my ad is on here, I'm honoring that $1,495 price on this site as well.

Note that you still have to buy adapters for these wheels to fit on the '01-06 MDX...local shops usually charge $75-100 each for billet aluminum adapters. My price includes the adapters.

As for eBay, there's a set on there right now starting at $1,200...with 500 miles on 'em...with Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 instead of Michelins...and you have to live in Georgia (local pickup only)...add the $320 for adapters and you're at $1,520.

Let me know if anyone is interested...John

Type 34,

Are you sure about the requirement for adapters?

There have been a few other members that have put the 2007 19" wheels on their '01-'06 models without the need for adapters.

I would have thought the bolt pattern on the stock 2007 18"s would have been the same as the 19" upgrades which did not require adapter.

Thanks,
Ceenit

I was referring to this eBay auction, $810 for a set of 2007 wheel/tires with 20 miles.

I too think it would be a driect bolt-on for the 01-06 X.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm 100% positive the bolt pattern for the 2007 MDX is 5 x 120 (or 5 x 4.75") and the 2001-2006 MDX is 5 x 114.3 (or 5 x 4.5").

The '07 now has the SH-AWD from the RL and consequently it now has the RL's 5 x 120 bolt pattern. Same as the Honda Ridgeline and '05+ Odyssey. If you're not convinced, contact your local Acura dealer.

The 19s that you're referring to are from the RDX, which does have the 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern. Here are some examples:
MDX on RDX 19s
Another MDX on RDX 19s

Ask those guys what they paid for those 19s (with the wrong size tires I might add)...from the second link "I have a buddy that works at Acura and he hooked it up pretty nice. I got the rims/tires + install for $2500."

The guy that won the bid for $810 got a steal...you won't see that again...the '07 arrived in US showrooms on 10/17/06, the seller started the bidding on 11/07/06 (just 3 weeks later), most people probably didn't even know what the '07 Sport model was...

Anyway, I appreciate the inquiries...let me know if you're interested...thanks, John
