| Sorry about the silly question, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the car to tell me what the outside temp is. Can someone point me in the right direction here? |

To get the outside temp, you push the SEL Reset button on the sterring wheel (2nd button up from the lower right). Push that button or the one beneith it to get the tire pressure and then push that button a couple times and the outside temp shows up below the diagram of the tire poresurre.
There may be a different or better way, but I have not read the entire manual yet. |

| The outside temperature is available on several of the screens in the bottom part of the display. Check your manual, I can't remember which ones off the top of my head, but I think it is the majority of them. |

LOL! This is what you get for buying a 40K vehicle. I go nuts trying to bring up the outside temp myself, pushing the select button.
Also, I miss the instantaneous mpg on the old one - not sure if the 07 still has that feature. It sure changed my driving habits, trying to maximize fuel economy. |

Unfortunately the 07 does not offer instant MPG. I was hoping it would have real numbers instead of the bar graph, but instead we have nothing :( |

Of course it does ~ not only does it give instant MPG, it also gives up-to-the-second "Miles to Empty" figure. Maybe you should go read the manual before making such an incorrect statement! |

Thanks for your reply, and I have indeed read the manual. Might you be so kind as to give me the page number that shows how to get instant MPG? |

My apologies ~ I thought you meant "average" MPG. You're absolutely correct that there's no way to get "instant" MPG!
But since I reset the Trip B reading at the beginning of each day anyway, I tend to use it to gage my MPG.
I guess I should read more carefully next time before I open my big mouth:(! |

I honestly don't know why this sort of thing is becoming so difficult in so many cars. At least the MDX has a convenient button for altering the suspension in the Sport Package.
In the Audi A8 and Cadillac STS, I searched in vain through various menus for the suspension adjustment in those cars. I've also twice driven BMW 5-Series with the optional head-up display, and both times searched in vain for a way to adjust the height of the display. When I asked at the dealer, they couldn't find it either. |

| I wish MPG and outside temp were on the same screen. |

| One feature I do like is being able to have the MPG reset after each fill up - automatically. Since you have two different read outs for MPG, you can use one and reset it whenever you want - of course it would need to be reset pretty often to get close to instant... |

| There are two different avg MPG readouts? First time I've heard of this in a vehicle. Could be useful. |

You can apparently set up Trip A and Trip B differently. |

You can, it is a preference. Says something like reset Trip A MPG after fillup. |

| I still can't believe Honda still didn't fix the temp readout location. That is one of the annoying thing about our '05 X is that you have to press the AC button to see the outside temp. Our BMW has it on the bottom of the nav screen and always visible. I wish that you could use the NAV voice command to get the outside temp just like you can ask for the time. |

You can leave that up all the time as an option on that center display. I leave it up most of the time, but I also sometimes look at other stuff, like MPG or SH-AWD loading....you can leave up whatever you want - I like it. |

That does not sound too bad. I guess they did "fix" it then :D
