My 2001 MDX Touring with Bose 6-CD changer is showing Er01 when switching to the CD unit. Can I add an aftermarket CD changer, such as an Alpine 634, without correcting the error? I've read a number of threads on this site describing how to add the changer, but I didn't see one saying whether I need to correct the error in some way first. Thanks for the help.
