| I just got my 2001 mdx today, and after reading this thread, i think I made a bad decision. I don't have any tranny problems, yet! hopefully not. but my question is are there recalls on this year model with the tranny? what vin #'s are involved? and does the recall resolves or even prevents the breakdown of the tranny? thnx! |

| Yes there are warranty recalls--> for installing an oil jet kit on the trans. Ask a dealer to run your VIN # and they will tell you what has been done to your vehicle and if there are any other warranty issues re: it. It does not prevent some of the transmission failures for 2001-2002 models which have had more of the failures to-date. |
