| does anyone of you tried this product? i just want to know the feedbacks. and another thing, how will you know if your stock head unit has cd changer controls? mine doesnt say bose in the front, but it looks exactly like the bose unit. what is the diffrence? my ride is a 01 mdx btw. thnx! |

Is you X a Premium(base) or Touring model? |

Base models 01-06 (not sure about the new 07) do not have Bose systems nor have 6 disc changers. They only come with the Touring unless you replace the unit. Sorry, man! :( |

| harman/kardon drive and play uses a fm modulator signal..I wouldn't recommend it since the factory radio doesn't have an aux input .It would not sound clear or crisp when an fm modulator is used..Perhaps you can also purchase an aux input and incorporate the harman/kardon drive and play to it.Then it will sound real good. |

From what I have read, Blitzsafe is the superior out of all the aux input for the MDX.It lets you control the IPOD with the steering control.I am using PIE X3 for aux input.I use it for something else than IPOD .Also, Forget purchasing the harman/kardon drive.BLitzsafe will do all the things Harman/Kardon will do beside the visual of the song,artist,title etc.If you want see those functions while using Blitzsafe ,you can sinply just look at your IPOD.A couple of members have installed Blitzsafe and have showed a "HOW TO INSTALL".
You can still install the Harman/Kardon if you wish too.It will not affect Blitzsafe or other aftermarket aux input for the MDX. I am just trying to save you some money!!!
