| Who would want it revived? |

| Im sure it wouldn't matter if you got a hundred votes. Daniel already stated when he first closed it that it put a strain on the backup of the site. |

Would it be easier if all posts older than, say, a month in that thread were deleted? |

| I voted no. Not because I'm a prude (I'm not) but because I feel that a thread like that brings down the overall professionalism of the site and it's members. Sure, it can be ignored and nobody makes someone clikc it but remembering how active it was, every time someone logs in that particular thread was always at the top of the new posts list and any member, new or old will see it. |

I pretty much agree! There are dozens of "other" sites for that kind of stuff. (and yes, I do rather enjoy hot chicks in thongs) |

| I actually didn't like it too much. I wish Daniel would allow more current events threads. |

| I'm missing the connection between current events and the Acura MDX.org site. Women and cars....I understand that. The world situation and cars.. I don't get it. |

I'm beginning to see the connection now...cars and current events...Acura MDX and Julie Banderas, Foxe's newest "fair and balanced" reporter.:4: |

Then lets do away with the humor and sports related threads as well. I don't see any calls for that.
As I understand, the problem was with the strain it was putting on the site due to number of posts, etc. Why couldn't posts older than a week or so be deleted if that is the case? |

Not strain on the site - strain on the backup as Warzau stated, cause pictures take a lot more space/time than regular posts. It could be managed by time limited deletion - but just how many thong pictures do you need? The thread still exists ( Link ) and from Excalibur's signature, it looks like he is still keeping the thread alive over at Acuralive.com |

| I don't come to the site to see women. There are millions of sites for that, but only one MDX.ORG site. |

Not talking about me, but for those members interested in women...would you mind posting your top ten favorites links out of a million? |
|

eRaul,
I would never surf those particular websites, but I'm sure that those members interested in that sort of subject matter would say, "Thanks, and keep those links coming." |

Do you come to this site to read jokes or about sports, or see funny pictures, etc, etc, etc...?
If as you say this is a MDX site only, lets do away with everything that has no relevance to MDX discussions! We have enough hypocracy in politics. We don't need anymore here !! |

As a member who brings down the overall professionalism of the site, I take offense!
As much as I enjoyed the thread, I can see why you guys don't have it anymore. |
