I'm looking for suggestions on cleaning under the driver and front passenger seats. Particularly between the seat and the center console. Since the seats are electric and mounted to the floor, it is difficult to clean out the things that fall between the seats. I bought my used 2003 MDX in Nov 2005 and I'm still finding things from the previous owner.
Thanks. |

| Welcome to the neighborhood! What you have discovered in that area between the front seats and the center console is what some of us refer to as the infamous "black hole". This ridiculously inaccessible area is known to swallow many objects never to be seen again. I'd be interested in learning a few new tricks on how to clean it out as well. |

A thin nozzel on my 6.5hp shop vac does a good job. Combined with a 1/2 inch dowel for larger items.

Try a long, skinny dowel or straightened out coat hanger to push or drag any foreign objects from in between the front seats and center console. After that, use a strong vacuum cleaner with a long nozzle. |

| Home Depot and Lowes, etc sell a 2 foot long flexible grabber that is great for retrieving items from between the seat and the console. It has 3 prongs that open close by pushing a plunger button on the other end. Works great. |
