My 03 mdx makes a loud humming noise when i hit about 2000 rpm at low speed. Does anyone know whats wrong. ??
Haven't noticed it before. unless i didn;t pay much attention.
Sounds like i got a after market exhaust.... |

This one goes way back. If I recall correctly, there was an issue with an exhaust pipe hangar. The isolation built into the hangar got old, and transfered the rumble of the pipe into the frame.
THere are posts in this forum about replacements, but I don't know what the topic was called. |

NO trailer hitch. other forums said that it could be the mounting hook. But they all are having the problem going about 70.
I hear it doing about 20km.
So i guess i'll try replacing the mounting hook first cause that cost about 10 dollars only. |

| i have seen the front half shaft heat shield cause the nosie, it looks ok, but the noise goes away after you remove it |
