I notice that my air conditioner in my 2002 MDX is not on, although it should be on. Fan is not blowing, and compressor is not on. Setting on dash have not been changed and it is on "full auto".

Anyone else ever have this problem? Any ideas what it might be?

What is the outside temp? Is it possible it is too cold outside? Have you tried the defroster mode, I believe the compressor comes on in that mode regardless of the outside temp.

Outside temp was 80; was set for 72, so should go on!

But we pay the price!! Property insurance rates have gone thru the roof.

By the way, the heater doesn't work either. I set the temp on the dash much higher than outside temp and nothing happens???? 50 yrs of driving and never had this problem?????My guess now is that the problem is not with the a/c unit, but have no idea what it could be.

Sounds like we need SuperTech's advice.
