Catch this weeks Car and Driver Television on TNN if you get it. They usually broadcast it multiple times each week.
They do a review of the MDX. Bottom line is that it is their pick as best SUV....but they really pan the offroad ability.
They also feel it look and acts too much like a mini-van with AWD, which they feel is really all it is.
They mentioned tire noise, wind noise and a 'bottoming out' noise when moving aggressively offroad.
But, again, they thought using a minivan for it's utility, combined with Honda's build quality and performance was 'clever'.
Kind of a backhanded endorsement.
