The 6 year/75K warranty on our '01 MDX will expire in about 30 days so I'm getting a bit nervous about stuff falling apart after the warranty is kaput. We've had the special transmission fluid line thingamajiggy added per the recall a few years back, the SRS system has had new control modules installed, haven't had the infamous front suspension klunk problem, the weeping mirrors is not a big deal to me(I just avoid spraying water directly at the mirrors), can't think of any other problem needing attention, only have 29,000 on the car, obviously I don't get out much, still looks and runs like new.
A few weeks ago I noticed the subwoofer was starting to buzz on those rare occasions when I listen to music instead of talk radio. I searched the "problem" threads and found a solution that seems to be working perfectly....stuffing the cavity behind the speaker with pillow polyfil type stuffing....no buzz and bass now sounds better than ever when cranked up. Oh, one other thing I noticed about a year ago and haven't bothered to fix is the rear view mirror which still allows me to see what's behind me but it appears something is delaminating inside and I'll need to get it replaced.
Any other things you think I should be concerned with or TSB's that might be worth the time to get fixed?
