I'm quite surprised.
Buick released base prices for the Enclave today:
CX: 32,790
CXL: 34,990
My site's analysis finds that the Buick Enclave checks in about $550 BELOW the GMC Acadia after adjusting for feature differences. MSRP starts $2,800 higher, but the Buick has about $3,350 in extra standard equipment.
The CXL compared to the CX costs $2,200 more, and includes $1,800 in additional features, plus one inch larger wheels.
Not included in the analysis: the Buick also has a longer standard warranty.
Other comparisons, vs. Enclave CXL AWD:
Acura MDX: $3,675 more before adjusting for features, $4,215 afterwards (vs. Enclave CXL AWD)
Lexus RX 350: $3,770 more before, $5,445 afterwards
Enclave data (just base prices and standard features, no option prices yet except AWD) will be on the server tomorrow under the 2007 model year (haven't created a 2008 database yet). |

The Enclave appears to be impressive, roomy and very handsome. I should drive as good as it looks.
My buddy just got an LX, the MDX he was looking at tricked out was $47K.
As nice as all of these cars are, none have keyless go or built in hard drives like the $25K Mitsu Outlander. GM does not offer Bluetooth except on Caddys, you must go through onstar if you want to use BT requiring a different phone #. My buddy wanted a Denali and nixed it b/c it did not have BT.
I guess there is no perfect car. While looking at the Enclave, don't overlook the very nice Mazda CX9 for $39K tricked out, it only lacks a HD. |

Full pricing for the Enclave now in my database. It's listed as a 2007 until I create the 2008 database later this month.

I want to see the Acadia and the Enclave. Does anyone know if these have full 4' room across back, including hatch door. That is one of my big dissapointments in the MDX.

| Are you wondering whether the rear opening is 48" wide? I'm pretty sure it is. They focus on this sort of thing at GM. |
