I purchased a set of 4 GoodYear Fortera Silent Armor tires in late Oct 06 that I am selling. These 235/65R17 (orig equip size) tires have approx ~ 4,000 easy highway miles on them and they are in like-new condition; they have not encountered any road hazards, snow or ice. I purchased them from America's Tire for about $860 including road warranty. I am asking $450 plus the cost of shipping (if you are located within about 2 hrs of Sacramento CA I can direct drop them at your door and save shipping costs). This is a good sale for top rated tires (see Tire Rack
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surve...ay.jsp?type=HAS). I am changing out the SAs with Michelin Cross Terrains. The SAs are a fantastic tire that actually handle better than the CTs particularly in the rain but I just prefer the ride of the CTs. |

| Just wanna let you guys know that I am willing to negotiate a bit on these tires. If anyone would like pics of the tires I will post pics of each tire including the treads. These tires have not been abused. My X is the commuter vehicle, so I travel about 60 miles per day on well paved secondary roads and some on a concrete freeway that is free of tread chomping broken pavement. The tires are now enjoying the lux life in my garage. |

| I just missed a sale by one day, as one of our members informed me, that he did not know that the tires are still for sale. In fact they are still for sale, so if anyone wants a terrific buy and a great set of tires, they're still up for sale. As I mentioned before, I can work a bit with you on the pricing. |
