Having come off the "popping sound" thread ... I'm wondering if anyone else have given thought to a potential electrical problem w/ the lights.
First, my car is programmed to have the lights turn on when you unlock the car (default -- that's how it came from the dealership).
Simply lock your car w/ the remote. Now look closely at your front and rear headlights closely while you unlock your car w/ the remote.
Notice how (at least on mine) the lights turn off then back on? Kinda like a flicker. I'm curious whether this is an "intended" design or wether symptons of potentially fault electrical system.
Thanks,

Do the HID headlights flicker or is it the DRL? |

Since this is a new vehicle why do you not ask your dealer?

It's not the HID, it's the side orange lights and rear brake lights.
I'm not asking dealers (yet) because I would like to know whether people are noticing the same thing or not. The thing I hate the most is wasting time at the dealership. I kinda like "accumulate" my issues then take it in for a "jumbo" service. |
