| It is just me or does anybody else out there dislike the center armrest in the 2007 MDX? I wish Acura kept the center armrest by where its split into a upper section for small items and large section in the bottom (like the older Xs). Just thinking about some of the things that I would like to see change on the new Xs.:) |

i think it's a matter of getting used to. i've grown accustomed to only opening the right half of the armrest, and having access to everything. i, for one, didn't really use the upper/lower design of the 1st gen--all my stuff was in the lower bin. now, i open the right side, and i don't even need to look down when i grab something (usually my cell phone). i charge my Moto Q using a desktop cradle inside the armrest. works for me :D
i do miss being able to open the top lid and have mini-table for my kids in the back seat! |

| In my honest opinion, i kind of gotten used to it and its actually useful. coz think about it..... when you have a passenger there both of you might be resting your arm on the center armrest. now if the passenger fell asleep and you need access, all you have to do is open your side and get what you need and vice versa. I know i hate it when someone needs something from the center console and i have to get my arm off the armrest and let them search. it's inconvenient. I think this design was meant to do just that, where we can get what we need without bothering the other person. my opinion that's all. |

| I love the armrest too! It is nice being able to access it without having your passanger move their arm. Or when my hubby is driving and I don't have to ask him to move his arm so I can get something out. |

| I like the split on top...............only I wish it wasn't so deep. I would have like to seen a short tray for things like phone, pen, paper, etc. |

| I even love the idea of having that secret compartment to the left of the passenger side's leg. big enough to hold a small box of tissue, or whatever. lol |

| Personally, I'm a little annoyed. I wish it had a separate tray to place coins or other small objects--these will certainly find their way to the bottom of the compartment never to be seen again.:p |

I like the center console armrest, and the ability to gain access when the passenger is using the rest. I do agree that it would have been nice to have a small compartment somewhere in the front for spare change. The one provided with the power supply is difficult to keep change in - the change goes in fine, but trying to get it back out, especially with the vinyl liner is a bit awkward. |

I agreed. I miss the little coin/cell phone holder right next to the VSA OFF button on my 02. However the large center console works out well, it fit the Game Cube snuggly for the long trip with kids.:claphead: |
