In all MDX's, the Acura symbol is rivited on to the sheet metal, unlike the MDX badge which is taped on. If you took off the Acura badge, then you would have two holes to contend with. Besides, the Acura symbol is in the center-top of the tailgate and gives a balanced look. |

| I went out and took a closer look at mine, and I prefer the badges. I don't have anything from the dealer, so that works out fine, but as far as "Acura" and "MDX" logos go, I prefer to see 'em on mine. |

Have never been to Hawaii, would like to go there soon. Drove someone to the airport going to Hawii last week, does that count?
