| The spare tire on my 03 MDX is pretty worn out. I will be replacing all 4 tires with new ones very soon. Can I replace the OEM spare tire with one of the better existing regular ones ? I assume this will be additional weight and will it lower my mpg ? Thanks. |

Many have done this. You would need to buy a fifth wheel as well. The difference in weight is only 20 lbs if that. Nothing to be concerned about. |

Personally I think having a regular tire as a spare is a very good thing to do. You will never see the difference in mpg.
