| I had 4 adults with me today, from 175 lbs to 250 lbs. I was very impressed how effortlessly the MDX accelerated from a stop light. The rate of acceleration ramped-up with the PRM's. Very nice power curve! |

Do you drive in "squential shift mode" or leave it in "D"? |

I think being able to up-shift & down-shift is fun and look forward to doing that on a back country road in the mtns. However, I also realize that, to maximize the gearing/power ratio, the computer thinks faster than I do...so I had it in drive.
The 4 people with me are business associates. They were very impressed with all the high-tech stuff (of course I made an excuse to use as much as I could) and equally impressed with the power. I even saw one of the guys in the back seat grab the oh-**** bar. :D
The other neat thing was I explained the GPS / HVAC interface and how the system compensated for the direction of the sun. The person in the front reached over the AC vents (the passenger & drive temps were set the same) and said, "OMG it is discharging cooler air on the sun side!" I replied, "Exactly how it is suppose to work." |

I actually had 8 adults last week on my X.
3 women about 110-140 lbs each on the third row and drove pretty nice. Didn't really notice the weight or lack of power at all. |
