This one is for Mom's MDX...
When the AC fan is running on it's highest speed, the fan makes a whistling sound. Dealer told her it was the fan bearing and replaced it (not exactly sure what they did). Well, that didn't fix it. She's still whistling.
Has anyone else had this problem, and were you able to fix it? What was done to fix it? |

Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be hear. Anxiously awaiting our 02 delivery...
Yup, I already searched and checked out that thread. This is not that particular 'whistling' problem. It's different. At first, I though she was hearing things (you know how moms get when they older:rolleyes:, but it's definately there.
The sound is associated with the FAN, not the compressor kicking on/off. You only hear the noise when the fan is blowing full blast. The dealer replaced the fan, but that didn't fix it.
Any ideas? |
