What was/is your tire pressure?

When I picked up the car, the second day i started playing with all options and started to learn the car.

I checked the tire pressure and someone please explain why in Canada the Tire Pressure monitor is in Kpa????

I checked the door and reccommended setting is 32 PSI.
I look at the Tire Pressure monitor is in Kpa.
In the manual it states that in Canada the Monitoring is in Kpa. Then why not put the recommended pressure on the door the same way???

I manually checked the tire pressure and it was between 35-37 PSI in all tires. I did check this at cold temperatures.
I reduced it to 33 PSI now.

How was/is your tire pressure? What pressure do you normally use?

Maybe because Canada uses the metric system? PSI is pounds per square INCH isn't it? The official SI unit for pressure is the Pascal (Pa = N/m2 = kg/ms2) or kiloPascal (kPa = 1000 Pa).

There's been several threads on tire pressure if you search. Members usually like to keep it above 32 PSI (mine are at 36). Factory was at 45, and the dealer didn't reset them (?!).

This tire pressure table is for bikes, but you get the drift.

Mine were 45 PSI all around. Have reduced to like 34 now. I dunno why dealer inflated it that high.
