I just got my '07 MDX and as much as I love the drive, sound, bluetooth and ability to play MP3's one thing bothers me.
I just spoke to someone at HFL and she told me that the name of the person calling does not show up on the MID.
I thought it didn't show up because I couldn't import my phonebook, she said even with the import this won't happen. ( also right now only one phone, A Sony from cingular, will import).
My question, does anyone have any different info. I find this hard to believe its all because of Verizon. My friends 05 Audi works fine with name caller ID and importing. He has the same phone through verizon.

| you only get the phone number, not the name. i have a razr through verizon and i can't import the book either. |

| That is a little disappointing. I also have a Verizon Razr. I cannot import the phone book into my wife's GX470. However, I also have a Garmin Nuvi 360 (with bluetooth) for my '02 MDX. Both Caller ID and my phonebook appear on the Garmin Screen. I wonder why it works on some bluetooth systems and not on others. |

I don't think you can import the phonebook from a RAZR, whether Verizon or not. |

| As I mentioned above, the address book from my Razr V3c shows up on my Garmin Nuvi 360. Don't know whether it is importing it or whether the Garmin can just read the address book, but I can take a picture to show you if you would like. |

When I spoke to someone at HFL she said under no circumstances will the name show up. I cannot believe a car as technologically advanced as the 07 MDX does not have this simple feature. |
