| Twice in the last three months, I had to enter the NAV system code to restore normal system operation. The first occurrence I attributed to a computer system 'burp' but the second occurrence has me wondering if the system needs dealer service (it's still under warranty). I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who's had similar experiences. The NAV system and voice response systems are great, but if there are gremlins in the system, I'd like to iron them out before the warranty expires. |

Also have a 2006 bought in Oct. It has asked for the code to be reentered twice as well. Dealer said last time they saw that happen they had to replace the entire system. But they weren't really sure why. We reset and will see if it does it again.
Anyone else? |

It seems that about every 2 months I have to re-enter the code into the NAVI system (2006 model). Nothing in particular seems to cause this. Mentioned it to the dealer, they had no clue. Never had to do this in 3 years of owning our 2003 model.
That said, once re-entered, the system works fine. |

Seems to be something with the 2006 models. It has happened to my wife two times and once with me.
This was never an occurrence with the 2003 we had for 3.5 years and 50,000 miles.
Oh well, my wife just keeps the code on a post it in the glove box now just in case.
I do think it was stupid that Honda integrated the AC with the screen though. The nav not working...FINE...but I'd at least like to lower my fan speed without the help of some computer touch screen that's prone to crashing. |
