| Took her out in the country to test the suspension. A few hops in to triple digits and she stayed well-planted on the road. Very solid for an SUV. The only negative is the braking system. I will look in to alternative pads. But overall, very sweet. I was able to hit the apexes pretty hard and accelerate at the crest...very cool. The Sport setting does provide noticeable sport, especially triple digit curves. |

| Uhhh the MDX is great and all, but the RDX has surprised me the most! WOW WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!! THE TURBO AND THAT PICKUP IS INSANE FOR THAT TRUCK! I might be over exaggerating, but I feel like I'm driving a sports car! The handling is amazing with the SH-AWD. The only thing I don't like about the truck is the ride. It's very rough and bumpy, you can feel everything on the road, maybe it's supposed to be like that, but it's not cushy like the MDX. Dang... maybe I should get the RDX hahaha. FABVSIX, sorry to hijack, but what do you think about your RDX? You happy with it? Do you share my same sentiments? |

| Yes! The ride is like in "sport" mode all the time. Otherwise I nicked named it "TurboTerror"......I prefer the MDX for daily driving. The RDX only get better as it breaks in too ! High performance Dohc engine is sweet... |

Absolutely! The Sport Mode helps...the thicker stabilzer bars are also a big plus.
I like to come in to the curve hot and hit the apex high, which puts more lateral force on the vehicle, but this allows me to go WOT sooner...the MDX felt very stable doing this. You could see how the handling system applied the torque, which I believe really helped. |

If you didn't race a 600hp Corvette, I'd say you were insane for pushing an SUV like that.

I have been called that a few times, especially by friends and business associates. And when I started, I was probably really nuts for racing... I had one of the fastest cars and one of the slowest lap times. Then I found that racing and being fast is about smooth entries to curves and keeping the car stable. One time I was with a professional driver in a 10-passenger van and he drove the course faster than most of the lower HP sportscars. It's all about control. So speed under control is safer than speed by someone who does not know how to drive properly.
Go to a track and watch the guys who fishtail, or take the apex too soon, or brake through the apex. Those guys are dangerous and all-too-often have the accidents. I had a guy behind me going through the Essess at RA. He trid to stay with me and end-up spinning off the track. He just didn't have enough time behind the wheel and oversteered in to the corner. |

That wouldn't of happened to be a Skip Barber van now would it? I experienced the same thing as you when I took their 3 day racing school......man could that pro driver whip that van around the course.:2: |

It was a Panoz driver at Road Atlanta. He scared the crap out of me! But it provided a great insight in to how to run the course.
How did you like the Skip Barber school? |
