I have an 03 mdx and at low speed about 20 mph it vibrates. If I let off of the gas it goes away and it only happens once in while. I read about the tourqe converters and the egr valves but my mdx is at 51580 miles just outside of the warranty. It is in the shop now the service manager said he would consider putting under warranty depending on what he found. The only problem is I bought it from a private party 4 months ago and have no service records any advise if he states he will not cover it.
Thanks for any help.

20 Mph is going to be too slow for a torque converter shudder or a tire vibration (which would still be there on decel). EGR problems are typically a surging sensation, not a vibration. I am seeing A LOT of front and side engine mount failures lately, and could be a source of your problem. Have your shop check for broken mounts. As a quick check for broken mounts:
1. Put your MDX in drive
2. With e-brake applied and your left foot FIRMLY on the brake, snap the throttle about 1/3 the way down.
3. If you feel a thunk, bump, or your engine tries to leave through the hood you most likely have a broken mount or two. They usually go in pairs.
4. Inspect the side engine mount (by the power steering reservoir). If it looks wet, or a dried rusty colored residue around it-replace it.

The mounts are liquid filled and when they go bad they do it all at once. When accelerating the motor will "float" while under torque and will result in harsh-feeling shifts and idle vibration, etc.

Hope this helps!
