Tonight we sign the papers on our new 2007 MDX Sport/Entert BLACK on BLACK vehicle. We are very excited and my wife is one lucky lady. I recently (June 2006) purchased an Acura RL 2006 Black/Tan. I guess it is her turn....

Welcome aboard! We have the same model. Aren't but 3-5 % of "Sport/Ent" models produced out of production! How much did you have to fetch for her?

Thanks!! Will post pictures later this evening after we pick her up! They basically took about 1500 off the sticker to get us where we wanted to be. Buying an RL from them in June 06 DID help :)
Actually I have bought 2003 MDX / 2005 TL / 2006 RL all from this same dealer... They should have taken more than 1500 off the MDX... Maybe tonight i will pressure em for some accessories...

| tedbell, you don't live in Vegas, do you? Your dealer sounds like mine, Acura of Las Vegas. I've bought 4 cars from them, and except for my 06 RSX, always had to bargain down from sticker. The RSX was the only one I started from invoice and paid just a few hundred over plus they gave me a great trade-in on my 13 year old Toyota. Of course, getting rid of 06 RSXs would be a high priority for any dealer since the RSXs are no longer made. |

We are located in Yorktown, Virginia... Only 2 Acura dealers in the area to speak of so they do not budge much off sticker...

Sometimes its worth a litte ride. Some PA/NJ dealers are $3600 off of list. But the important thing is that your deal makes you happy. |

Yeah I read on here about people getting those kind of discounts in other areas, but this dealer has been good to me and actually took 7K off the sticker of my RL this summer... I think that was because they were just not selling and everyone had em... I am happy with the deal and they are taking me out of my wife's TL lease 2 years early. All and all I am going to be very happy I think... Well, off to the dealer... Back later with pics on the website...

Good suggestion, did not even consider that....
Sad thing is I did not even know the vehicle came with a reverse camera until I put the X in reverse.... How sad is that!!! Do all the models have the rear camera option?

I believe only the ones with the Navigation come with the camera.
It's funny you mentioned that you didn't know it came with it.
The first time I took the car for a test drive the sales guy was really nice.. He said... go and when you finish come back, take your time.
I drove it for about an hour or so. Parked the car somewhere and tried to figure out buttons, and stuff. I knew the car had the camera and I couldn't figure how to turn the damn thing on. It pi**ed me off.
Finally, really impressed with the handling and everything else and told the sales guy that everything is fine except the camera doesn't work. What do you mean. It just doesn't turn on. He came to the car, put in reverse... bang! there it was...aha... that's how you turn it on... we both started laughing.....
Too bad I can't have it on while I drive sometimes....:) |

Yeah, we actually left the dealer had dinner and then backing out of our parking spot the wife was like check out the camera.... LOL

Question for anyone out there that knows... Um, when or how exactly is the ride of the X suppose to be different when in SPORT mode VS COMFORT. I have driven about 15 miles in each and notice NO differences. Is it more of an off road experience? Or is it just for that feeling, hey I got the SPORT pacakage it must be cool?

Congratulations! I just picked up a Sport/Ent Blk on Blk last night. Got 2k off of sticker and 24000 for my 04 X w/ 46220 miles. They had the lug locks and all weather cargo mat installed. I tried to get them to throw in the day/night mirror but that was a no go.
One of the best add ons for my finance was the prepaid maintenance. I was able to save 40% off of labor and fluids for my every 5k maintenance up to 60k
Now I just need to get some additional accessories. |
