I am signing the paperwork in the morning for a new Nimbus Grey Sport with Entertainment. Basically got $1800 off MSRP with a reasonable value for my trade. (OK they were all high-fiving each other in the back room)
They said they could have really been more 'giving' if Navigation was something I could do without.

The internet sales guy was great and spent a lot of time going over the car with me.

Bad news, good news. The car is for my wife, so my actual seat time will be somewhat limited!!

A very impressive car esp coming from an 03 Suburban.:D

Congrats to you or should I say Congrats to Your Wife! We are sure enjoying the MDX!

KSMDX,
Was curious if you negotiated the $1800 off before they knew you had a trade? Or did they know you had a trade up front?

Did you purchase from Wolfe or Superior? (or someone else).

Thats the exact color/model we are looking at.
Thanks.

I went thru Dan the internet guy at Superior. He was very helpful and spent a lot of time going over the car with me.
I was pretty up front on my situation with trade etc. and they came out with a price I could live with pretty quick. The manager even sent me home with some Valentine Acura gifts for the wife.

I am sure we could have played the game but I really did not want to go across town and go thru the same process over at Jay Wolfe for $200.

Honestly, I would have no problem buying from either dealership (actually have bought Acura's from both) but Dan made the whole experience a good one and Superior is the closer dealership.

Congrats on the New MDX!!!
It seems the "MDX for the WIFE" is a growing pattern here... Just 2 days ago I purchased the same model MDX for my wife, just a different color pattern (Black/Black). Man, the ladies seem to be fairing pretty well this Valentines!!!

Guess I cannot complain, I do get to drive it on occasion and she did let me get an RL earlier this year...:)

Hope you all enjoy the new ride!!!

So I bring the car home Saturday and the wife is very happy with the car.

Tuesday I get the page, I hit a Lexus call me.

Kids and wife OK, MDX unscathed, however the plastic Lexus bumper is broken.

We had a good ice/snow storm overnight. She just hit a patch of glare ice when going very slowly. ABS kicked in and well the rest is history. Luckily the guy was very nice, will just have to see how much this will run! He hasn't even had an oil change yet, so feel bad for his troubles.

Happy Valentines Day Honey!

No damage on the X? Wow, that's saying something. So the Lexus was new as well? This sounds like an 80k collision. ;)
