I just bought an 07 MDX last month. This week, I received my roadside assistance cards in the mail. I understand how they can get me out of a jam if I need to be towed, need gas, etc - kind of like AAA. They also mentioned they if I lock myself out of my car, they can unlock it. How in the world do they do that? It is my understanding that Acura roadside assistance is more like a AAA service and not like GM's OnStar - where they can do things remotely via GPS and built in cell phone communication.
Appeciate some insight.

What they mean is that they can provide you the services of a locksmit if you ever get locked out of your car. Technology is advancing, but it hasnt advanced to a point that a satellite can unlock your car. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Yes it has. ONSTAR has the capability of unlocking a preperly equiped vehicle. Only if the battery is dead does ONSTAR have to dispatch a locksmith.

where have you been last couple of years? haven't you seen on star commercials? yes they can unlock your car with satelite:jester: :jester: |
