Dealer Accessory Installation Fees - Click HERE for Original Thread

Just purchased a Black Sport MDX last week.

Kinda rushed the deal since we were running out of time, so didn't negotiate any accessories as part of the deal (wanted to check here and see what I wanted/needed). I am going back in to get some accessories installed, and the dealer has ok'd giving me some type of discount on installation.

I was wondering if there is a standard installation fee associated with each accessory so that I can compare the "standard" to whatever the dealer gives me as a "good deal."

The accessories I was looking for are:

1. Auto day/night mirror kit
2. Front and rear lower trim
3. Roof rail kit and cross bar
4. Sport running board kit

Any feedback about this would be great.

Thank you.

Most of these are pretty easy to do yourself, and you can buy them at a better price than the dealers.
If you haven't seen this already, check out hondaacuraworld.com . You'll even see some instructions.
The running boards do take some hefting, but many here have done them.
