I noticed that I always get the 'Trip computer' screen when I start the car. So I always have to push another button to get to trip A.
I tried saving by pushing memory+driver 1 but still the same.
Is that by design or can you save the 'subscreen' position? |

yeah i know what you are talking about Luke. but i tried everything and it still doesn't save it. the only thing is the main screen like where you see trip computer, hfl, the shawd display, but once you go to subscreen, it won't stay like that. goes back to the mainscreen that you were last on? anyone know if there is a setting? |

The MID will stay on the last screen but at the top level as you have noticed.
I leave mine on SH-AWD with the outside temp showing and that is what I see each time I start the car. I use this screen since there is no sub-screens for this option and the display is 'cool' to watch. :)
Maybe something a software update can fix if enough people find it frustrating. |

I took another hour or so reading the manual:-). The only thing I can find is that you can choose whether it remembers the screen or not. By default it's turned on so I guess it only remembers the main screen. Oh well I can live with that....
In the meantime I have another issue to figure out. My key and my wife's key are now reported as driver 1. Will have to do some more reading how to fix that... I did try holding lock+unlock with no success... |

| Somewhere in the manual, there is a way to reset key and back to driver #1/2 settings. |

| I found the same issue (car thinks that the keys are the same). However, I noticed that you have to lock/unlock the doors with your specific key for the car to remember that properly. For example, if I go out to my car and start it, then hop out, go inside and get my wife's keys without locking the door, the car will still think I'm using my key. If I lock/unlock the door with her key, it recognizes it again. |

That was the issue but when I park it in the garage I don't lock the door typically. Well now I always unlock it first (or press memory button). |
