| Has anyone installed the front and rear garnishes themselves? I'm expecting mine to arrive in a couple of days and will attempt to do it myself. The instructions don't look that difficult, but a little concerned about removing the bumpers. Thoughts? |

| IIRC, there should be a thread that describes that on an 07. Haven't tried it yet on my 07 but I've removed the bumpers on my 01 and it's surprisingly easy. Just take your time and be careful not to scratch the bumper when laying it down and you may need an assistant reinstalling it. |

| Thanks. It's incredible how much the dealership charges for installation. It's bad enough how much these accessories cost. |

You're getting them off EBay right? There's a couple of Acura dealers that sell off of there and that's where I've bought my: Back Up Sensors, Auto/Dimming Mirror, all-weather floor mats, and cargo mat. |

Yeah, I got mine off ebay. There was one person that was selling them as a package. The total cost was the same as if I was going to buy only one of them. It was a great deal.
I've did some research on the majority of the accessories and found some dealership parts dept. sites with excellent prices as well. |

My husband and I installed both front and rear garnish yesterday. It took a few hours but was not difficult, following directions. We were cautious about scratching, etc. You really have to tug on the front bumper to get it off. And don't forget to detach the fog light connectors before you yank it away from the car.
I like the difference. Glad we put them on.
I'm new here, so I'm still learning about attaching photos and such. I will try it later. |

I agree with previous poster... not a hard install but you really do have to work to get the front bumper cover off. The rear was not as hard to remove but be careful as it also has much sharper angles and you could tear the cover if you tug too hard.
I only installed the front garnish... couldn't put the rear one on as I installed the trailer hitch to tow my Aquatrax.
Good luck! |

| It was a pretty install. Watch out when you are taking off the bumpers. I put a towel to cover up the corners (by the wheel well) of the bumber, so that is does not scratch the fenders while taking it off. |
