I have a 2001 MDX with Touring and Nav, there is a strange sound that seems to e coming from the passenger side above the glove box. The best was i can describe it is a clickity sound or maybe even the sound of rain falling on a tin roof. maybe even a high puitched crackling sound. It doesnt seem to have anything to do with the heating or AC system as I still hear it even after i shut off the system.
I cant replicate the noise, i think it might always be there, i just dont notice it alweays becasue of the volume of my sound system.
I took my car to the dealer and asked them to check it out, they said all i need is a small clip in the glove box, they didnt have it in stock to they ordered it for me. told me it would take 20 seconds to install the next time i go in for service.
anyone else have any ideas.....?

| I get the same noise but only when then AC is turned on. The clicking only occurs when I'm breaking AND with the AC turned on. The "water fall" only occurs with the AC on but not while breaking. I have no idea how to fix it. Guess I need to take it to the dealer. |
