if you are handy with a solder iron you can fix in about 20 minutes.
simply look under your dash, right about the gas pedal you will see a grey box with a blue? connector (side of the box will read mitsuba)
get that box out of the vehicle, then open it up and slide out the circuit board, now you need the solder iron and some solder, all of the large solder points need to be repaired by heating them up a touch and adding a little bit of solder. there ahould be around 8-10 points to do.
reinstall and voila you are ready to go, the dealer may try and sell you a new drl module, dont buy it, this is all you need done, i charge an hour labour to do the above |
