All,
I received the following error messages in my NAV inbox for my 2 week old 07 X with just the Tech package:
P0630 - Emmissions System
Vehicle Stability Assist: 84
Anybody know what these are? I'm scheduled to bring the X in next week but am eager to know if these are really serious.
I also have a small grinding/gurgling sound coming from my front left suspension/brake area. It usually comes about within 5 minutes of driving and lasts for no more than 10 seconds. Sometimes it occurs over bumps and sometimes on smooth roads, even coming to a stop or accelerating. I can feel the grinding on the brake/gas pedals. Any ideas?
I'm not really that picky, as I used to own a hard core hurts-your-bones-to-drive Suburu WRX STi. The STi had all these noises and grinding feelings, and if it was quiet something was probably wrong lol. I expect more from an Acura. Love the X to death though.

We just picked up a new 2007 Tech + Ent this last weekend and I've got the exact same two messages popping up. Odd thing is that they're dated Dec/31/04. I'm not sure if they're just false alarms or what. I've got a call into my local dealership, but haven't heard anything back yet. Any chance you'd be willing to share what you found out on yours?
Anyone else getting the same two messages that could help shed some light on the issue? Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed the old date too. It's a false alarm. Call the dealer and the tech will reset it for you. My tech showed me a trick to see all the diagnostics and reset it myself but I forgot. It involved pressing two console buttons at the same time. No problems since then.
