I'm debating on getting these rims for my formal blk X. I really like the way they look in the accessory book, but it would be a hefty investment w/ the tires. I'm curious to know if anyone has gotten them and may have some photos.
Thanks, |

| I'd thought about it, but the cost ($3400) along with the fact the only tires available were SUMMER ONLY tires kept me from doing so. |

| I am planning on getting them soon and putting snow tires on my stock 18" wheels. There is a black 07 MDX in my neighborhood and she has the 19" wheels on hers and they look great! To save soem money you can get them on E-Bay from an Acura dealer for around $1300 without tires. There are 2 or 3 Acura dealers with Ebay stores who always have a set or two listed at that price. |

| Being in NC, summer tires is not a big deal. Though I will still have the 18" rims so I can use those if the need should ever arise. Per Tirerack, it appears Pirelli makes a Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow tire. |

Def. going to get them off of Ebay when the time comes (after I convince the wife). :D Good to hear you've seen a Blk one w/ th e rims and thought it looked great. |

My dealer wanted something insane like $3900 for the wheels only, plus another $1600 for the tires. And he kept the old wheels! For $5500, I figured I could go with some sharp aftermarket wheels, summer tires and retain the 18's with snow tires for annual ski trips to Colorado... and still have $$ left over.
Even at the eBay prices, I could still do something custom to make my MDX stand out from the ever-growing pack in Houston. |

| My wife has the chrome 19" wheels on her MDX. Where we live in California, summer tires are fine. The price is quite hefty, but the looks justify the price. Even my son who has the 22s on his Escalade likes the look of her 19s. |

rjkimbo,
Do you or does anyone else have any real wolrd pics of the 07 with the 19" chrome look rims. I am strongly considering them and would like to see some real life owners pics to help me decide. |

| Good idea cobrajames. I would def. like to see some pictures of that, since this is a major investment. Post those pics rjkimbo. :) |

I was unable to find the 19" tire size anywhere on Acura's website :8: Befire I'd ever consider a larger rim I'd have to know what replacement options were. I do like the way the 19s look  :1: |

Tirerack .com list the tire size as - Original Equipment Optional 275/45-19 |

| Does anyone know the correct offset for our wheels? I know it's 5x120 and saw mention of 40 offset. However I've also read somewhere 45 offset. Does anyone which one is accurate? Do they both work? Looking to pick up some 19" wheels but may go 3rd party as the Acura 19" are too expensive. |

| Before youbuy them on eBay, you may want to give Tim at Hondacuraworld a call. $1,300 is just about the list price of the "sparkle chrome" version of the 19 inch wheels. The polished chrome is a bit more. I bet Tim can beat eBay. |

I,m not positive about the offset on the original 07 MDX wheels, but the optional 19" wheels are listed as 19x8.5 with a 45 offset in the Acura instructions. You can find these instructions on Hondacuraworld. |

| I just ordered a set of the Chrome look alloy for 1530. That is 700 less than most dealers. Prob. could have found some other rims for less, but I wanted to stick with OEM. |

What size and brand of tire are you going to get?. I searched on tirerack.com and only came up with a couple of options. Unfortunately they were in the $200-300 dollar range per tire.

I'm going to order these: Michelin 4x4 Diamaris. They are OEM so, it appears this is what Acura uses on the rims when purchased at your local dealership. The are 263 via Tirerack.com |

Contemplating purchase of these. Where did you get them for $1530?
I initially noticed the tires on these are summer tires. I now see on tirerack they have all season radials available in this size... Any drawback/issue (aside from being careful in the winter) of going w/ the all seasons?
Was thinking of the Michelin Latitudes or Pirelli Scorpions... looks like the Pirelli's are rated better for snow traction.
OR am I ahead to mess with having the wheels swapped in the Winter--- ... here in NE we deal with snow and ice from time to time...
I do not look forward to having to take the MDX in for service so they can swap wheels & tires around AND recalibrate the TPMS sensors two times a year....
Any thoughts/advice? |

I got the rims from an Acura dealer in Troy, Michigan via eBay (for $1436) LINK . I'm not sure if he has any left. If you go w/ an OEM tire, the TPMS does not need to be re-calibrated per the installer. My TPMS appears to be working fine. I plan on having it checked by the dealer to ensure nothing was missed. If you go w/ anything other than the Michelin's Diamaris then you'll most likely have to have the TPMS adjusted twice a year.
My drive feels slightly different, but these rims are larger w/ a shorter tire. I plan on having the dealer road test to make sure everything is fine. I should know more on Friday. |

| Man your car looks sweet. I'm debating on getting those running boards too. Can you take a side shot of your car? Trying to convince the wife to spend the extra money for all the accessories I'm going to be getting for my MDX. Thanks in advance. |

You can find a more custom look with a bit of shopping around. I looked around for wheels with bolt patters: 5x120. They fit Acura, choices are lean but you can find some. My tastes are clean so I had fun trying to pinpoint them. I do NOT like divets and rivets.
See: http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/axiswheels.html
I have the Hiro on my s2000 and I love them..
See me ride on 20s

I paid 2400 or so for the wheels and tires.
Hope that helps.
