| Hello. I have an 07 MDX with Tech Package. I'm looking into getting a rear-seat entertainment system for the kids. From what I can see on the acura site, the OEM unit is nice. Does anyone know if one could be installed into an 07 MDX that didn't have entertainment package? Would the roof be pre-wired even though it doesn't have entertainment package? I do realize that the OEM unit is probably alot more pricey than aftermarket units, but it would be nice to have an OEM unit in there if possible. On the other hand, maybe someone could tell me that an aftermarket unit would be better anyway. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I got Venturer 9" dual screen DVD players that go on seat head rests, can play individually or together! From SAMS CLUB for $250. If u are not using, can keep in a bag!!! Easy and tranportable solution!
Just gotta watch for hanging wires!!! Use and bag'em! |

| I like the OEM unit - it has a built in remote and the commands come up on the screen for easy navigation. Very intuitive. Some aftermarket units look like they would be easy to steal. ENT also gives you the power lifgate which is nice. Just my opinion. |

| It is probably pre-wired but you would not only have to purchase the screen/RES but change out the whole front head unit as well. It most likely would cost more than the 1800 bucks when buying it new. You are better off buying a high end ceiling mounted unit (some now come with wireless headphones as well) for about 750. |
